Game Participants (fluent japanese speaking)

About the Job

The game participants are intended to feel like ordinary Japanese people who are genuine fans of the show and have chosen to take part. However, we are not looking for generic extras or background characters. They should have the authenticity and relatability of real members of the public, while also possessing something distinctive in their appearance, personality, expression, or overall presence. We are looking for people who will not disappear into the crowd. The characters are intended to be Japanese, but we are open to considering candidates from other Asian backgrounds if they can convincingly fit the visual brief. For the main participants, there will also be moments where they speak about their enthusiasm before a game, interact directly with the MC, and deliver dialogue on camera. These roles therefore require actors who are fully fluent in Japanese, as well as having strong enough acting and performance skills to respond naturally and convincingly on camera. As the participants will be taking part in physical games and challenges, they will also need a basic level of athletic ability, coordination, and physical confidence. There are no strict requirements regarding age, gender, body type, hairstyle, or overall appearance. In fact, we would like to see a broad and varied range of ages, looks, body types, personalities, and character types.
