DAN • male • any ethnicity • aged 30-39 Dan is an everyman — likable but the tiniest bit of a goof. His manner kind of makes you laugh, be it that he tries too hard or he's a little awkward, the fact that he always has good intentions, make him a hero even when the joke is a little bit on him. Dan, despite his best wishes, is not the world's greatest host. His holiday part, though well intentioned, is a complete and total dud — lame decor, uninspired spread, and the gift selection is stale...cringe...in desperate need of intervention...all of the above! Dan has a wonderful Secret Santa gift for Amy that he's excited to share (a stuffed flamingo) but the party is going south so fast that Amy just might leave before he has his turn. But luckily for Dan, he lives in Florida, where every resident over 18 years old has an Easy Button they can press to inject even the most banal circumstance with excitement and a healthy dose of good fun. So, Dan does what he should do and breaks the glass to press the button and calls in help from his friends at the Department of Good Fun, who leap into action and send in the big guy — Secret Santa himself. The DGF saves the day again!
