About the Job
Casting a young woman (ages 22-30) to play the role of the girlfriend in a short film (2-person cast). Any ethnicity. **FILMING TAKES PLACE THIS SUN MON. SEP 13/14. NYC area local hire only** **CASTING FROM TAPE** Ultra low-budget short film (3-5 min.) For festival submission. $200/day per person. Copy provided. IMDb credit. Film will be primarily B-roll, with short dialogue inserts. Portraying a couple at various stages of a relationship. Seeking strong actors with improvisation/ physical acting skills (i.e. dance or modeling experience a plus). Shooting is this Sunday and Monday (September 13 & 14), in and around Sandy Hook Beach National Park. Shooting on and near the beach; must be comfortable being on a beach. Will not be asked to enter the water. Will require “beachwear” - but can be covered to the actors comfort level. Will be portraying normal couple intimacy (walking together, holding hands, dining together, etc.). Daily rate ($200/ day per person) and copy provided. Travel to Sandy Hook & hotel accommodations provided. Actors to provide their own wardrobe (3-5 options of everyday/ beachwear). CASTING FROM TAPE.
