He is social, charismatic and a specific character in his own right, not simply an “average climber.” Long hair is a plus, but not required. He can read athletic, but does not need to look like an extreme outdoorsman. Guy B Performance: Extremely casual, enthusiastic and completely absorbed in the sports betting app. He talks about the app and his picks with the energy of someone sharing the greatest new discovery in the world, while remaining sincerely oblivious to Kenny’s increasingly dangerous situation. The key is likability: he is not intentionally neglecting Kenny; he is simply way too excited. His win should feel genuine and spontaneous. Project Notes: • Both roles require genuine climbing ability and comfort on an outdoor wall. Talent does not need to be an elite or traditional climbing expert but must look authentic and confident around climbing gear and movement. • Strong comedic timing is equally important. The spot depends on grounded reactions, contrast and character rather than broad sketch-comedy performance. • West Coast talent is preferred to help manage travel, but Casting is considering a wider range where the fit is strong.
