But behind his composed exterior is a grieving father still struggling to accept the death of his four-year-old son. Since the tragedy, Samuel has watched his beloved wife, Elaine, become consumed by sorrow and increasingly drawn toward forbidden practices she believes can bring their child back. As their once-beautiful Victorian home slowly falls into decay around them, Samuel finds himself fighting a battle he cannot understand—a battle for his wife, his family, and perhaps even his soul.
