About the Job
Troy, 29, was born with an undiagnosed learning disability that made him a poor student. Troy masks his academic insecurities by adopting a persona that mixes a rebellious 1970s punk and 1950s greaser; he idolizes James Dean. He craves respect and infamy, striving to be feared rather than ignored. He softened when he met his match and first love, Claire, who gave his unfocused life meaning and purpose.
