A man living a pleasure-driven life undergoes an unexpected Christian conversion. As he becomes increasingly disciplined, sober, and spiritually aware, his girlfriend moves in the opposite direction, deeper into alcohol, infidelity, resentment, manipulation, and increasingly inexplicable behavior. What initially appears to be a relationship falling apart slowly begins to look like something darker has been living inside it all along.
