He isn’t simply trying to escape danger—he is trying to escape the feeling that his life has become insignificant. Mike is a charismatic, funny, emotionally intelligent man whose greatest enemy isn’t Malone, Adrian, or Robinson. His greatest enemy is his own wounded pride.
