Looking for REAL JAPANESE FAMILIES with a MOM, DAD, and SON/DAUGHTER or REAL COUPLES to play mom and dad. Talent must be Japanese. This is a Japanese family on vacation in America. Open to non-actors who are Japanese. DAD - in his 40s. He's the kind of dad who researches a trip for a year and laminates the itinerary, because being prepared is how he manages being nervous. He wishes he were a lot more confident in himself and in life, but he is working on it. MOM - in her 30s/40s. She is the quiet engine of the group. Warm, wry, endlessly observant, she's the one who notices the moment before anyone else does, and loves her husband most when he's being ridiculous. SON or DAUGHTER - 7-12yo. Small and fearless. No self-consciousness, no filter, all wonder. Open to non-actors who are Japanese.
