Quick-witted, highly sarcastic, and always armed with a clever comeback, he's the funniest member of the band, even if his humor occasionally gets him into trouble. Intelligent, disciplined, and fiercely loyal to Cedar Performing Arts Center, Douggie believes the school has shaped him into the musician he is today. He expects excellence from himself and everyone around him, which often creates tension with the other students. Beneath his sarcastic exterior, however, is a kid with a huge heart who would do anything to save the school he loves. Backstory: Raised in a family that values discipline and hard work, Douggie has devoted years to mastering the guitar through relentless practice and study. Cedar became the one place where he found teachers who pushed him to reach his full potential while encouraging his creativity. Although his perfectionism sometimes makes him difficult to work with, Douggie never questions his loyalty to Mr. Smith or Cedar. Throughout the story, he learns that great music isn't just about flawless technique, it's about trusting your bandmates and playing from the heart.
