Phyllis
About the Job
A relatable, everyday employee working behind the scenes at O’Keeffe’s HQ. Phyllis feels like the kind of person who keeps the machine running: smart, earnest, hard-working, and probably on her third coffee before lunch. Across the campaign, she may wear a few different corporate hats. In one spot, she is part of the marketing department, trying to help translate the product’s power into something clear and persuasive. In another, she is a customer service representative buried under an avalanche of real-world consumer data, feedback, claims, comments, and probably one spreadsheet too many. The comedy lives in her sincerity. Phyllis is not checked out or cynical; she cares, maybe even too much. She is deep in the weeds of corporate overthinking, trying to do her job well while the amount of information around her keeps getting increasingly absurd.
