About the Job

Female Presenting | 12-15 years to play younger (8-11) | Mixed Asian (Chinese/Caucasian). We welcome performers of all gender identities who can authentically embody the role. Sensitive, intelligent, imaginative, and desperate for approval. Young Red loves music and wants nothing more than to make her mother proud. She carries a deep fear of failure and a growing belief that love must be earned through perfection. Strong expressive eyes and a natural internal life. The ability to play piano is a plus. Supporting Role. Mature Content: Script contains violence, horror imagery, emotional distress, and supernatural elements. Character screams while being disciplined by her mother and appears in scenes involving childhood trauma. If a minor is cast, a Parent/Guardian will be required and allowed within sight and sound of the minor at all times while working. Production will comply with all applicable State Child Entertainment Laws.
