Jessica is composed, intelligent, and quietly magnetic. In her marriage, she balances gratitude with resentment, while with her daughters, she is loving yet inconsistent. She wants to provide the stability for Margot that she could not provide Tori, but Tori’s and Margot’s liberated personalities challenge what love and stability really mean. This role calls for an actor who can embody restraint and depth, conveying inner conflict through nuance, physicality, and moments of quiet unraveling. The actor must be comfortable filming under water.
