WHAT IS THIS? Tiffany Company Casting is casting a social media content series presented by Choice Hotels titled One More Mile. We're driving Route 66 through four states and stopping to tell four different stories. Real people. Real places. Real stories. THE IDEA BEHIND IT Route 66 is a road most people only half-experience. They hit the highlights, check the map, keep moving. But the best things on this road aren't on the map. They're the people you find when you go a little further than you planned. One more mile. When something is worth it, there's no such thing as too far. STORIES WE’RE LOOKING FOR We are looking for someone who is keeping something alive that would die without you on Route 66. You stayed when staying didn't make sense. The town got smaller. The road got quieter. Everyone you grew up with has a life somewhere else now. You're still here - not because you couldn't leave, but because something about this place wouldn't let you go. Maybe you're the only one left who knows how to restore a vintage neon sign. Maybe you've been serving the same pie recipe for thirty years and changing it would feel like a betrayal. Maybe you run an alien shop, a sculpture yard, a trading post, a turquoise jewelry store, a mural studio, a one-of-a-kind museum, or a roadside diner that's been in your family since before the interstate. Maybe you've restored a roadside attraction that people stumble upon when they go one more mile. Maybe you took a wrong turn somewhere in Oklahoma, New Mexico, Texas, or Arizona and never left. We're looking for the person who's been keeping something alive on Route 66 that would disappear without them. If your story only makes sense because of Route 66, we want to hear from you! WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU’RE SELECTED If selected for the campaign, a small crew will come to you wherever you are along Route 66. We'll spend a real day together showing off how you are keeping the legend of Route 66 alive - and you'll do it the way you would share this with your best friend. We'll ask questions, you talk, and we'll listen. Choice Hotels handles the logistics, including a place to stay for the whole crew. Terms apply.
