ELI – Lead Boy, 8–10. Black or Hispanic (to match the actor cast as his mother). Curious, kind kid who takes everything in. He’s observant and sensitive rather than precocious or “performy.” We’re looking for a natural, grounded child actor with an expressive, cinematic face – more real and lived‑in than a polished “commercial kid” type. Must be comfortable reacting to environment and improvising small moments within structured scenes; the film rests heavily on his chemistry with the actor playing IRIS. NOTE: We can switch the project to SAG for the right performer.
