HAROLD MOOSE (50–60) – LEAD Twenty years ago, Harold Moose was a deputy who froze during a school shooting in Texas, an act of cowardice that resulted in the deaths of thirty children and destroyed his reputation. Unable to live with what happened, he self-exiled to the remote wilderness of Maine, becoming a park ranger and withdrawing from the world he left behind. When a massive rogue moose begins a deadly rampage through the forests of Maine, Moose is forced back into the spotlight as the body count rises and the ghosts of his past return. Confronted by both a relentless killer and the consequences of his own actions, he must decide whether redemption is still possible. Seeking a strong dramatic actor capable of portraying authority, emotional restraint, guilt, vulnerability, and ultimately courage. The role relies heavily on presence, internal conflict, and emotional depth.
