Marc Rosenberg-Thongthammpoom

The Atlas Of Human Accomplishment

Short Film - Man 40 - 50 Non Union Principal 06/19/2026 Los Angeles

About the Job

Amelia’s father. Warm, earnest, and quietly anxious about the possibility of his daughter becoming the first member of the family in 137 years to fail to earn an official accomplishment. Marc genuinely believes in Amelia, but years of watching her attempt increasingly ridiculous accomplishments have left him perpetually torn between encouragement and concern. He is equal parts proud father, family historian, and participant in the Atlas obsession that has defined generations of his family. Must be comfortable playing documentary-style interviews and grounded emotional moments within a heightened comedic world. The humor comes from treating absurd circumstances with complete sincerity. Looking for an actor who can balance warmth, deadpan comedy, and genuine heart. Think: a loving dad who has spent fifteen years cheering enthusiastically for one failed accomplishment attempt after another
