Jackie is Ruby's oldest daughter and Cliff's stepdaughter. She initially believes Cliff is the best thing that ever happened to her family, enjoying the attention, gifts, and sense of security he appears to provide. As time passes, Jackie begins witnessing behavior that makes her increasingly uncomfortable and becomes more aware of the tension within the household.
