About the Job
Serving as the emotional anchor and magnetic narrative center of the film, this modern mother carries herself with an effortless warmth, inspiring dignity, and a deep, soulful connection to her community's history. We are seeking for an actress with dramatic depth to deliver a nuanced, controlled performance; she must seamlessly transition from an intimate, tender gentleness with her young son to a heavy, reverent solemnity when recounting systemic injustice, ultimately rising into a fierce, triumphant, and unwavering pride that anchors the film’s final declaration of permanent belonging.
