About the Job
Girl; 10 to 12 years old; Eastern European, White. Looking for true Eastern European talent that speaks English as a second language (has a natural Eastern European accent). A sweet, shy girl brought from Albania after her father becomes terminally ill. Unaware that the adults have arranged for her to one day marry Luan, Drita approaches him with quiet curiosity and genuine kindness. Though initially timid and reserved, she lights up the moment she realizes Luan doesn’t want to hurt her, responding with warmth and an instinctive embrace. She becomes another child caught in the expectations and traditions imposed by adults, making her relationship with Luan unexpectedly tender rather than romantic. SUPPORTING. MUST BE NY LOCAL.
