About the Job
Jake is Angela’s wealthy childhood friend and emotional safe haven — the “good boy” counterpart to Dexter’s dangerous bad-boy energy. Adopted into an ultra-rich New York family after growing up with Angela in an orphanage, Jake never forgot her and quietly remained in love with her for years. Unlike Dexter, Jake consistently protects, encourages, and emotionally validates Angela without demanding anything in return. He represents stability, kindness, and the future Angela could choose beyond trauma and toxicity.
