Margaret/Herman

About the Job

This role is for a "standardized patient" for an educational simulation for a hospital-based case management department. No permanent film record will be created though the portrayal will be on camera to allow for remote viewing (from a control room). As Margaret/Herman is a frail, older adult with very convincing responses despite having mild dementia. She/He harbors underlying anger toward her/his daughter but is otherwise pleasant. She/He lives at home with her/his spouse and loves their cats. Margaret/Herman was admitted to the hospital from the emergency department. Margaret’s/Herman’s goal is to remain in her/his own home. She/He does not want to move to Senior Living, Assisted Living etc because she/he believes she/he will not be able to keep his cats.
