Calm, patient, good natured Seeking an actress to be my scene partner for my Preliminary Audition for membership in the prestigious Actors Studio. This is a 5-minute scene from the play "Death of a Salesman" between Willie and his wife, Linda. Note 1: You will not be considered for membership. Only I will be. Note 2: This is not for the MFA program - this is for the original, 78-year-old Actors Studio. Note 3: I'll be directing the scene. Our Preliminary Audition for the Actors Studio will be held in October 2026, on a Saturday or Sunday, btwn. 10 a.m.-5 pm at the Actors Studio on West 44th Street in Manhattan. I will be notified a few weeks in advance as to the exact date and time. Rehearsals once/wk. (late afternoon) in Midtown Manhattan, NY., starting around mid-August. Then, around mid-September, twice/wk. You will be doing this for the invaluable experience of working emotionally and moment-to-moment on a strong, contemporary classic. And having your work seen by the Actors Studio judges is always worthwhile.
