Boy, ages 9–12. Son is practicing his basketball jump shot in the driveway outside his home with encouragement from his dad. Should feel natural, expressive, and authentic — a real kid rather than overly polished or “commercial.” Looking for someone who can naturally show determination, slight frustration, and excitement as he gradually improves, with comfort improvising subtle, conversational moments and reactions. Must be comfortable handling and shooting a basketball. Does not need to be highly skilled, but should be capable of making a jump shot within a few takes.
