About the Job
Frances is an endlessly optimistic personal assistant. She comes from a deeply religious background, and moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of storytelling. Along the way she got connected to a sleazy film producer, and is struggling to find a way out. Her optimism should not be mistaken for naivety. She is aware of the world she's in, but chooses to believe there is a light at the end of the tunnel. For about half of the short Frances is possessed, and her performance will need to reflect that; must be comfortable with active scenes, and potential for light stunts, as well as fake blood/gore. AUTHENTIC SOUTHERN ACCENT IS IDEAL; sample may be requested. Include reel or video work; chosen actors will be asked to submit self-taped auditions via Eco Cast. Thank you!
