About the Job
LEGAL 18 TPY - ONLY SUBMIT LEGAL 18IN THIS ROLE!!! Four street-savvy paperboys/papergirls hawking the day's edition. They work the activation footprint as an ensemble — calling out headlines in classic carnival-barker cadence (“Extra! Extra!Read all about it!”), engaging the crowd, posing for photos, and handing out branded period newspapers as collectible takeaways. • All ethnicities, all genders. Seeking an ensemble that reflects a real 1930s urban street — not a monoculture • Lean, scrappy, expressive faces. Period-friendly looks (think real-deal city kids, not glossy commercial casting) • Height: roughly 4'6"–5'6" preferred to read as kid-aged on camera and next to civilians • No visible modern tattoos, dyed colors, or piercings (or willing to cover/remove for the day) TALENT SHOULD BE ABLE TO: Project loud, clear, sustained vocal calls for multi-hour shifts (think theme park performer /street performer stamina) • Engage strangers warmly and in-character — eye contact, energy, period-accurate slang and cadence • Improvise short interactions: react to questions, riff with the crowd, stay in character when phones come out LEAVE NOTES WITH PRIOR STREET PERFORMER OR THEATRICAL CREDITS!
