About the Job

Four Respondents are needed for the bank-balance montage. Each person has a single reaction line — their honest (and comedic) answer to 'How much is in your bank account right now?' The responses range from 'Negative twelve dollars — I overdrafted on coffee' to 'Don't ask me that right now' to pulling out their phone and wincing at the number. Personality: Real, relatable, unguarded. Respondents should feel like actual people caught on the street, not actors delivering lines. The less 'performed' these reactions feel, the better. Improv ability is a plus — actors who can riff slightly within the beat are preferred. Physical look: Diverse — varied styles, clothing types, energy levels. This montage works because the audience sees themselves in at least one Respondent. Cast for variety across look, energy, and style.
