The NFL says Patrick Mahomes can’t promote beer. But did they say anything about someone else playing him in a Coors Light commercial? They did not. Checkmate. We are teaming up with Patrick Mahomes to cast an actor to play Patrick Mahomes in a Coors Light commercial and do everything the real Patrick isn’t allowed to do. We’ll kick off the campaign by posting a series of “audition tapes” from Patrick’s social of the casting process. We’ll use these to build buzz without scooping the idea. People will wonder why Patrick is casting an actor to play Patrick. Is it a movie? A show? A hit Broadway musical?
