Talent must be comfortable wearing a harness as she will be tilted in some scenes and needs to have a strong core. Talent will not be suspended in the air. Think V8 commercial with a lean. Someone with dance, yogi, or athletic ability would be best for this. The harness will be something similar to the picture attached. About Nora Nora is smart, warm, and trying. She's a detail-oriented woman from 30 to 40 who wakes up one morning to find her world is slightly, inexplicably off-kilter. It’s not a crisis. Just one of those days… She tries to move through her day with grace, dry humor, and quiet persistence. She is a mirror for our audience, not a punchline. The comedy comes entirely from recognition and from her sincerity. We are not looking for broad or goofy. We are looking for authentic performances. Understated comedy and naturalism. The ability to react genuinely with levity. Our character is frustrated but she’s persisting. Our comedy comes from the fact that Nora is doing her best despite things going wrong around her. This is essentially a silent film. Nora speaks with her eyes. We are looking for a memorable face and a performer with a slight quirky vibe.
