About the Job

Portraying a real, grounded individual navigating ongoing health challenges and working to better communicate with his healthcare provider. (All body types welcome.) The patients in this series are everyday people living with a rare disease. Some are outgoing and talkative. Others are reserved and hesitant. Like real people, they vary. We will consider all submissions for the two following “personality types.” We are exploring a range of patient types. All should feel authentic, relatable, and human—not like a “character.” This role is primarily scripted, but talent should have substantial experience in both scripted work and improv. If selected, talent are welcome to audition for one or both Patient roles. If auditioning for both, please submit separate takes with a simple wardrobe adjustment to differentiate. TRAVEL Local hire only. No travel provided. Must be able to self-report to Boston. (possible non-consecutive days, TBD.)
