We want to pair a couple who ideally will either be a real couple or actors who have worked together in the past, although are open to new pairs as well. Preferably, the actors will have improv experience and feel like a genuine couple. Ideally, they’ll be interesting and memorable, with instantly likeable faces. Warm, genuine people you believe right away. Think high school sweethearts who are still just as in love years later. Comfortable, connected, and completely themselves. The comedy comes from that connection–the looks, the timing, the small improvised moments as everything around them spirals. They shouldn’t feel like actors “acting,” but real people reacting. The result: a couple you root for from the first frame.
