Elevator Life

Short Film Non Union
Los Angeles
Synopsis:

An elevator is a vertical confessional. In a single building over 24 hours, we observe the fleeting intersections of strangers, lovers, families, workers, and dreamers — all suspended briefly between where they were and where they are going. The film unfolds as a quiet mosaic of human moments — awkward, tender, humorous, raw. The elevator becomes both stage and sanctuary. The mirrored walls reflect more than appearances; they reveal private truths. We move between inside and outside the elevator, sometimes through POV, sometimes through reflection, sometimes floating with restrained, intentional camera movement. The tone is naturalistic yet cinematic — restrained lighting, sculpted shadows, intimate framing.
