About the Job
MOM (30s–40s) A tightly wound, in-a-rush LA mom. Juggling too much, already late, and at the end of her rope. She loves her kid, but right now she’s reactive, impatient, and not interested in anyone else’s take on how she mothers. Needs strong instincts and the ability to land both frustration and control in quick, sharp beats. Must be okay working with their own child or child actor. KID (4–7) All genders, all ethnicities. Curious and completely unfiltered. Drawn to the dog, but denied, which quickly spirals into a full emotional meltdown. Big feelings, zero filter. Should be able to say what’s on their mind. Improv instincts a plus. Quick emotional shifts. Note: Must be comfortable with mild profanity (“f**k you”) in a controlled, story-driven context. Parent/guardian consent required.
