About the Job
We are building a Gold-Rush era town. The Californios and Indios are part of the population of the town. Californios were Spanish-speaking, ranch-owning residents of Mexican/Spanish descent in pre-1848 California, while Indios (Indigenous peoples) were the original inhabitants often employed as forced labor on these ranches. NO visible tattoos or facial piercings. NO DYED hair. Performers should be prepared for hot weather and a somewhat dusty environment. Seeking average-sized body types. The Californios and Indios will work on several days (not everyone is on all days): Week of May 18-20. PLEASE see instructions for selfies (no makeup, or clothing with logos or bright colors).
