18+ to play 18, any ethnicity.Grayson is a self-sabotaging, chronically restless young man whose pattern of destruction, expulsion, and emotional detachment is a direct inheritance of the wound left by a father who abandoned him without explanation. He projects a studied indifference to everything, using provocation, dark humor, and deliberate cruelty as tools to preemptively ruin anything good before it can be taken from him. Beneath that performance, however, is someone with a quiet perceptiveness and an unexpected capacity for tenderness, evidenced in small, unguarded moments of genuine care that he almost immediately retreats from. His arc is one of the most classic and difficult kinds: learning to stay. He enters the story as an antagonist in nearly every sense and exits it as someone who has chosen, for the first time, not to leave. Male talent must be comfortable being shirtless, and with on-camera intimacy including passionate kissing and implied sex. An on-set intimacy coordinator will be present for all levels of intimacy. Additionally, there will be some action work in which Grayson punches Ethan. There will be a stunt coordinator present for all action work.
