Kassia is a warmhearted and quietly resilient young woman who channels her grief over losing her mother early in life into acts of care for the people around her, most visibly through cooking, home-making rituals, and a deep investment in the idea of family. She carries a streak of social insecurity, having struggled to fit in at school, but possesses a core of genuine emotional intelligence and moral conviction that she is only beginning to trust in herself. Though initially cautious and rule-bound, she has a dry wit and an unexpected capacity for boldness when pushed, revealing someone whose gentleness is a choice rather than a limitation.
