She comes from a stable, well-to-do background and carries herself with confidence and ease. Beneath that charm, however, Kate is navigating a recent personal loss she doesn’t fully know how to process. She has joined the pet loss support group under false pretenses of grieving a pet when in reality her grief is something even more disenfranchised. She is expressive but selective with her vulnerability, often shaping how others see her. While she forms connections easily, maintaining emotional boundaries becomes complicated when those connections deepen.
