About the Job
The Expert is a deadpan social scientist type - think Bill Murray in a lab coat. Local Miami talent! Talent submitted should have very strong improv skills. He/She is earnest, very likeable and genuine. Talent should be very comfortable stopping/interacting with non-actors. Bonus if talent has psychological or social science background. This is a comedic man-on-the-street type of shoot where The Expert and their Assistant will be filmed in a pop-up booth on a busy Miami street. They will invite non-actor passerbys to be assessed for 'childhood joy restoration' and will give these real people a series of ridiculous Q&A prompts that are treated like a serious sociological assessment. Think Bill Murray in a lab coat or Cunk on Earth. MAKE NOTES on submission if talent has improv or man-on-the-street experience. Please include any related improv/man-on-the-street media. Also make note if talent has psycholocial or social sciene background.
