Father to Danny, Leah, and Roz. Senior pastor of The Lord's Church in the Crenshaw area of LA. An anointed preacher who carries 15 years of guilt and loss without a single crack showing from the pulpit. His wife left. His son is in and out of jail. His daughter left the church. He preaches victory every Sunday and goes home feeling defeat. The lie he must reject: 'My faith wasn't enough.' Must convey spiritual authority, hidden brokenness, and a shattering vulnerability when overwhelmed by his family circumstances. Baritone/Tenor. Must deliver powerful gospel-driven solos. Preaching cadence and gospel vocal experience strongly preferred. Experience in gospel music and/or contemporary Christian is a strong plus. Must be comfortable delivering sermon-style monologues.
