About the Job

We are seeking one larger-bodied female character for the subway scene to help create a varied and authentic mix of riders. All ages and backgrounds are encouraged to submit. We are casting characters to feature for a stylized 1970s–1980s New York subway scene for a photographic series by photographer Justin Bettman. We are looking for a wide range of ethnicities, ages, and body types to help create a rich and varied subway scene. There will be group shots as well as solos. Compensation This is a personal self funded creative project so unfortunately no compensation. Talent will receive lunch, a digital copy of the final photograph, and credit. About the Project This is a stylized, 1970s–1980s–inspired photo series by photographer Justin Bettman, known for cinematic, character-driven imagery. Each photograph will be staged like a film still—dense with story, atmosphere, and visual detail. Search Justin Bettman online will provide a clear sense of the visual style.
