Big Door Studio is currently casting 10–20 non-union actors/creators (18–34, all genders/ethnicities) with sharp comedic instincts and improv chops for a new GenAI-powered social feature we’re launching for a major tech client. This is a hybrid writers’ room + performance project. If you love making quick, visually driven, mobile-first comedy, we want to see your stuff! I know "AI" can be a buzzword that causes panic, so here’s how it works: The AI effect works by taking 2+ photos from a user's camera roll and turning them into a stylized video based on a prompt (e.g., “Here’s a pic of me and my dog; now show us skydiving”). The goal of this project is to highlight how the feature can create wild, funny edits with your photos—not replace you. We need you to help us figure out the funniest ways to use it. If you are selected, we will fully brief you on the project and tech. But here's the TLDR: The Role Phase 1 – Development & Creation You’ll participate in a short brief and brainstorming session, then create a few short, funny videos on your phone using images from your own life or library. The goal is to explore comedic ideas and see what works best with the feature. You submit a few videos based on best concepts and we'll edit. Phase 2 – Usage (if selected) If your video or on-camera performance is chosen for the final campaign, we may ask for small revisions or reshoots, If your video is one of the ones that gets published you'll be paid an additional $2000 Timeline Briefing Prep: March 10–20 (remote / flexible) Filming: March 16–22 (Los Angeles or self-filmed remotely)
