About the Job

ROLE: MUSICA (LEAD / ROMANTIC-ALLEGORICAL PARTNER) Seeking: Black or Afro-Latina woman, 20s–30s (open to range if the fit is right). Musica is magnetic: bubbly, playful, emotionally intelligent, and quietly powerful. She’s a warm presence with edge: funny, flirty, and deeply attentive without feeling like a “therapist.” She carries symbolic weight in the story (without being a fantasy caricature) and the camera loves her. Acting style: Naturalistic dialogue, grounded presence, strong nonverbal storytelling. This role asks for subtle emotional turns: playful teasing → sincerity → emotional intimacy → mythic stillness. Chemistry and presence matter more than résumé. Key traits: Playful confidence, high emotional range Strong listener (reacting is half the performance) Can convey depth with minimal dialogue / long takes Comfortable with gentle physical touch choreography (hand-hold, shoulder touch, hug — tasteful, story-driven) Bonus (not required): connection to music culture (hip-hop, jazz, blues), dancer’s rhythm, musician energy SCENES / CONTENT NOTES Tasteful romantic intimacy (hand-holding / hugging / close proximity) Some scenes are dialogue-light and rely on movement + expression
