About the Job
One of my favorite subjects is the mixed black male. You add a model-sensibility to this and there are so many angles you can tell a story from. Mixed parents. I could create a story for an actor today with a black mom and tomorrow a white one. Then there is the 'fitting in' element that can breed 100s of stories. From a models point of view this is almost like a secret weapon in storytelling that I am surprised an actor/director duo hasn't explored. Lets put it this way, look at all the blazing megastars of the last 60 years. There is one thing they have in common...that's all I will say for now....
