He is protective to a fault and struggles to separate love from control, often acting before thinking through consequences. Though outwardly confident and teasing, he carries deep insecurity stemming from adolescence, particularly regarding Rachel. Mason’s arc revolves around learning that true partnership requires trust and respect rather than rescue. He is capable of intensity and tenderness in equal measure, and his emotional growth hinges on relinquishing ego in favor of accountability. *Male talent must be comfortable being shirtless, and with on-camera intimacy including passionate kissing and implied sex. An on-set intimacy coordinator will be present for all levels of intimacy. Additionally, there will be some action work in which Mason punches Jax and Rachel knees Mason in the groin for which there will be a stunt coordinator present.
