MUST HAVE ACTING RESUME AND PASSPORT Physical: Striking rather than conventionally beautiful. Strong build, carries herself with absolute authority. Dark hair often pinned back practically. Wears rich but functional clothing -- she's not afraid to get dirty. Sharp, calculating eyes. May have a scar or two from her youth. Background: Inherited the ludus from her father, a famous gladiator who won his freedom and built an empire. Her brother, Marcus Caelius, was the Praetorian Guard who helped Aurelius escape and was executed for it. Before dying, he told her to protect the prince. She recognized Aurelius immediately when he arrived at her ludus and has been protecting his identity while using it as leverage. She's ruthless and guile, running a business that profits from death, and is willing to manipulate, lie, and sacrifice others to keep her ludus and ensure her family's future. Motivation: Honor her brother's sacrifice, protect her ludus from the Domitii who are trying to seize it, and secure her family's power by backing the future Emperor. Arc: Walks the line between genuine loyalty and naked self-interest, must decide if Aurelius is a person or a chess piece.
