Hey, sexy janitor, pick up the ball for me." When Irina kicks the ball back, it whistles past his ear and smashes into a pillar, causing him to collapse crying loudly. David has no intimate scenes and no further stunts or actions beyond this single confrontation. He serves as an early example of entitled, poorly raised children who mirror their parents' cruelty, and his comeuppance foreshadows the larger humiliations awaiting the adult antagonists. He disappears from the narrative after being dragged away by security alongside his mother.
