About the Job

A young girl defined by humility, empathy, and a quiet trust in the bees. Aged nine to twelve, (to play younger) our young girl feels completely at ease being herself—playful and energetic, sweet and engaging. She has interesting, expressive features—maybe long, flowing hair or big bangs, a freckled face, and a naturally sunny expression. There’s an effortless charm to her when she’s not trying at all: independent, quietly confident, curious, and still full of innocence. Maybe a slight tomboy tilt, it should feel like this world already belongs to her. She approaches them without fear or expectation, and it’s that openness that invites us in—building an emotional connection to the hive and gently shifting how we see it. (**NOTE: there will be no real bees at the shoot - at least we are not bringing any specifically**)
