About the Job
John Kraus was an American physicist and engineer who was the designer and director of the Ohio State University “Big Ear” Radio Observatory. He served as the director from the creation of the observatory until his retirement in the early 1980s. An accomplished inventor and scientist, his career spanned decades across several educational institutions/scientific organizations. While director at the Big Ear Observatory, the Wow! Signal was discovered, Kraus was involved with significant efforts into researching the signal. Please see reference photos– looking for talent with similar features.
