About the Job
Member of Captain Robert Scott’s Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913). In January of 1912, Scott led a party of five which reached the South Pole, this was less than five weeks after Amundsen's South Pole expedition. The expedition didn’t go to plan and on the way back, a planned meeting with a support dog team failed. By March 17, 1912, Lawrence’s 32nd birthday, he had developed a frostbitten foot that appeared to be turning gangrenous. Still with a long way to home, Lawrence wandered into a storm while the others slept– never to be seen again. Please see reference photos, looking for someone with similar features.
