About the Job
Charles Gordon was a British Major General whose military career spanned three decades and took him to many countries throughout the world. In the early 1880's while in Jerusalem, he theorized that a hill he had come across that was shaped like a skull was Golgotha, the site where Jesus was alleged to have been crucified. This theory would suggest that Jesus's tomb was not in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and was instead near Golgotha. Please see reference photos. Mustaches encouraged.
